Archie and another dog were running loose on a country road in the summer heat. When his friend was hit by a car and killed, Archie stayed with the body for three days. It took several hours for a rescuer to lure him out out from under the care where he was hiding, but when he came out, he was sweet and affectionate.

Archie likes playing with other friendly dogs, and he would love a home with a confident, playful dog who will help him develop confidence. Archie needs a home with a fenced yard.
