Meet Chopper!

Chopper is a large, loving boy, looking for a new start in life. This strapping young guy is house trained and learning leash manners with the help of a harness. Chopper is a big, strong boy that seems to make friends (human and canine) everywhere he goes! He has been working on some basic skills while in shelter, but he still needs a guardian who is willing to work with him to continue his training. Hes a sweet boy and will be an amazing addition to any home and family, preferably with older children as may accidentally knock over toddlers. 

Chopper came in as a stray to the Williams Lake BC SPCA, and was transferred to Kamloops through our Drives for Lives program. Due to his unknown history, we arent sure if he would get along with cats, and he has shown a little too much interest in rabbits, so slow introductions to resident pets are key!

1. Visit our centre to meet this pet, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or
2. Submit an online application https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-kamloops and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!
