Sundance is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix who came to us in 2020 from an Arkansas shelter where he was surrendered with his two brothers because of a family illness. Sundance is one of our six sanctuary dogs. He has been with us for such a long time now that we feel he would not do well transitioning to a new home. So we will continue to love and care for Sundance in rescue. We appreciate donations towards his food/treats, monthly preventatives, and routine vet care. In his foster home Sundance is gentle, affectionate, and playful. Sundance likes to be petted, walks well on a leash, and is house trained. He does need to be fed separately as he will resource guard his food from other dogs. Sundance is friendly with the other dogs in his foster home and his brother Phoenix is his closest companion. He enjoys a rural setting as his original owner lived on a farm. His foster dad doesnt have cats, however Sundance doesnt pay attention to them when hes at the vet. Sundance has double dew claws, is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Our Adoption Requirements: A secure and visible fence. In order for your application to be approved, you must also pass a home check and a vet check which includes having at least a two year vet history. Our adoptable dogs can be adopted in Missouri and surrounding states: Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Arkansas. We are able to transport to those states.
