Why Choose Me? Update: 12/12/23 Update: Linus is back! He could really use a foster. According to his surrender paperwork, he is now housetrained. Hes great with people and knows basic commands, but hed need to be matched carefully with another dog. Stop by to say hi to this great guy. * * * Linus is a total cutie! Last weekend he got to hang out at the Marigold market! Heres what his handler had to say: "I spent a few hours with Linus, a participant in Project Homebound - Athens GA, at the Marigold Market in Winterville. He was interested in some of the other dogs, but relaxed enough to just lay down and chill. Linus met lots of people friends, both adults and children, and was appropriately friendly with all. I think Linus would integrate into lots of home situations and make a great addition to a family." He loves learning tricks and knows the commands sit down focus with me and more. Update 4/27/23: Linus is one of our newer recruits to the Project Homebound jail dog program! He is gentle, laid back and gets along well with other dogs. He knows Sit, Down, Settle, Stay, Leave It, Focus, Say Please and Touch. He also walks well on a leash. Linus is a happy boy who loves treats. Instead of sitting for them, hed hop on his hind legs. While Linus and I dont share a common understanding of sit, we did have a good time. Hes a sweet boy who likes to please. Linus is heartworm positive.
