Big Daddy is a very sweet, gentle, and fun, one-year-old, nine-pound, male Cinnamon New Zealand-mix rabbit looking for a loving guardian. Big Daddy loves to be pet, and happily takes treats from your fingers. While he can be picked up, he can get pretty wiggly. Big Daddy enjoys timothy, orchard, botanical hays, and big daily salads. He has been living in a double-sized exercise pen with his litter box, toys, and water bowl. He gets sweeter and more friendly the longer you know him. We haven’t had him living in the same pen as another rabbit, but he may enjoy the company of a well-socialized female rabbit. He loves time to run around and get in his zoomies! When he was found in the forest preserve by an Niles, Illinois, Animal Control Officer he was with an entire family of domesticated rabbits who had been dumped to fend for themselves. Since his rescue, he has been neutered, vaccinated and boosted for rhdv2. He is an extremely healthy boy, perfectly litter box-trained and he doesn’t mind the cats he shares his home with. His adoption fee of $100 benefits Friends of Petraits Rescue. For an extra $100 we’ll include his exercise pens, litter box, water bowl, toys, litter, hay, pellets, and carrier. To meet and possibly adopt Big Daddy, please fill out the application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/rabbit-adoption-application/ and then follow up at friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to make an appointment to meet him. Please check out: http://www.rabbit.org/ for more information on caring for a rabbit. He is being fostered in Chicagoland.
