**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES**  Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. Hey there, I am Skippy.  I am about 2 yrs. old and 15 lbs.  I was probably named  Skippy because I love sticking to my people.  I was pulled from a high kill facility in East TN.  I do cry a little when you leave me alone or you do not pay attention to me, but my foster mom and I are working on that.  You have to remind me to go out to go potty but I am getting good at that because my foster mom always gets so happy and tells me how good I am when I do.  I would be a great addition to any home because I love all people and dogs big and small.


We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus.  We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step.   Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $350. Dogs over 2 years old are $250. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
