These beautiful, friendly cats would love nothing more than to snuggle up with their people and add a touch of elegance to a new home.Hera and Alibi were relinquished to another shelter after their owner passed away. They were understandably stressed and in rough shape from all of the changes in their lives. The first shelter was very crowded, which made it difficult to provide the TLC that these cats really needed. Luckily the Cat Shack was able to take them into foster care.
The cats were assessed by our veterinarian and while both cats were thin and matted, they were found to be basically healthy with good results for their senior bloodwork. They are now up to date with vaccines, were treated for fleas and received antibiotics for an eye infection from which they have now fully recovered. They were found to have heart murmurs, plus the vet suggested that they have dental cleanings in the future. They will be reassessed medically before adoption to check the status of their heart murmurs and if recommended at that time, they will receive their dental cleaning. These pretty cats have been in the loving care of a Cat Shack rescue foster Home for a month now and they have really bloomed! They are eating great, purr up a storm and love exploring their foster home. They have excellent litterbox manners and love to be groomed. Adopting from The Cat Shack
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, special-needs cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
