Description:
Looking for the sweetest guy there is? You found him! Bruticus is amazing with people and dogs of all sizes. Don’t let the pictures fool you. Bru is a big boy! While he isn’t tall, he is pure muscle and he has a big ole head! This big ole head of his also means he can sometimes slobber if he drinks too fast but with this face, how can you not fall in love!!!

Bru has had a rough couple of months. He was adopted from BARCS in October and was then found living on the streets with a homeless man. After finding him on the streets, he was taken to BCAS. That’s a lot of change for an adult dog. However, you would never know all he’s faced based on the love he has for life.

His kind nature and easy going personality makes him a perfect dog. He is respectful of the resident dog’s space. Bru is housed trained. He is working on his love for the crate. He doesn’t have much to say while in the crate. In fact he is quite as a mouse. It is just getting him in the crate…and making sure he stays in it! Bru is currently in what is called a Rough and Tough crate. He does not attempt to get out of this style. He will go in willingly with some yummy treats. He does still have his moments when he is not so willing. On these days he does allow you to guide him into the crate.

We don’t feel he would need to be crated once he has time to adjust to his new home. However, we do crate train in our rescue and have no doubt he will continue to improve with his crate time.

Bruticus is also a perfect car rider and loves walks!

If you are looking for a big ole sweet meathead, Bru’s your guy!
