Description:
Chet is a 4 year old, Pit Bull mix. He was surrendered to the shelter after he was no longer getting along with the other dogs in the home. Chet is neutered, updated on his vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, and microchipped.

This outgoing little guy is the life of the party! Hes super playful, outgoing, and a bit of an attention hog (not that we can blame him with that cute face of his)! Hes looking for a new forever family that loves to have fun as much as he does.

While Chet absolutely LOVES people, he can be a bit pickier with his canine friends and does have some jealously issues when it comes to cuddle time. His extreme love for, well, love also drives him to hop fences from time to time, so we recommend he be kept on a lead when outside of the home.

Chet very much enjoys his outdoor time, though. He just needs a few minutes to calm down when meeting new people on his walks, but once he does hes a gentlemen on the leash.

He would do best in a home without any cats.

Chet does suffer from separation anxiety and so we recommend he go to a home where is people are home most of the time or that he go home with a canine buddy to keep him company.

If you are interested in adopting Chet, please fill out an adoption application using our website (echumanesociety.org) and a member of staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible. If you are using a phone or tablet to fill out your adoption application, please call or message the shelter to ensure we received it. You are also more than welcome to stop by anytime during our normal business hours to see Chet first hand! Feel free to call the shelter at (814) 834-3247 if you have any questions.
