George was dumped on a rural road, in Surry County. A kind-hearted individual took him in and got him the care that he needed. At that time he was significantly underweight and dehydrated. He has put on weight and is ready for his new home, now. George is a big goofy boy. He is a gentleman with a big heart and is very mild tempered. Although he is easily described as a confident fellow, he can sometimes get slightly anxious. He eats really fast. His needs are best bet with a slow feeder to aid in digestion. Of course, you would eat really fast too, if you werent sure you would get a next meal. George loves other dogs and isn’t phased if they don’t like him. He is house and crate trained and he is a super good boy when with you. He enjoys car rides, being outside and being with his person. He walks well on a leash but probably needs more practice. He will alert if anyone/ anything comes in the yard. If you are interested in adoption, please complete an adoption application and submit it to dunlapjbr@gmail.com.
