Hi Im Care Bear!
I am a 2 year old shepherd/pit mix that found my way up north from a high kill shelter in Texas! I am a sweet and caring boy that likes meeting new people. I love to play and go one walks and would make a great hiking partner! I have met a bunch of dogs and get along with them and I even enjoy the company of kitties as well! I have a fair amount of energy and would love a family that can keep up with me and take me exploring when they can. At the end of the day Id love to find a comfy couch to cuddle up on and relax with my family.

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or familys needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
