Meet Florsheim!

Florsheim is a 5 year old Shitzu who would love to be your personal shadow! He follows his foster family around all day and is usually found within 2-3 feet of them. He is a breeder surrender and still working to trust humans and let them voluntarily pet him. Florsheim has made significant progress on this front in just a few short weeks and would love a patient family to help him fully open up.

Although nervous with humans, Florsheim is friendly and confident with dogs and cats alike. He is a gentle soul that sits calmly while held, by both adults and kids. He loves following his 80 lb. fur siblings around and would do well with another dog to show him the ropes.

Florsheim is working on potty training and does well going outside when taken out on a schedule. He is comfortable in his crate and sleeps through the night. He is just learning to walk on a leash. He is extremely smart & will learn quickly with 1x1 attention. He loves playing with his little "babies" (small stuffed animals) he carries from room to room.

He is the sweetest little boy and in time when he learns to trust you, would be a wonderful addition to a family.

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in Cheyenne Wyoming. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months,  microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs. 

As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
