Description:
Once abandoned and left to fend for himself, Doug Fur is now looking for someone who will love him for the rest of his days. At just 1.5 years old, this poor, sweet guy was tied up at the rest stop along highway 70 until a kind person spotted him and called Plumas County Animal Services for help. Despite his past, Doug Furs heart is filled with love and playfulness. He has loved meeting new friends and spending time in our kennels managers office with staff doting over him. His personality is a delightful blend of playfulness and affection, making him the perfect addition to any loving family. Please note that Doug is a young and active boy and he will need a family to dedicate time toward his activity level.

Foster home report--
"My observations of this sweet boy:
He likes to be with people. He loved following us around if we got up to do something.
He seems fully housetrained. He had no accidents while he was with us.
He knows "sit" and "shake" and it seemed like he knew "drop" (when he had his ball) when he was in the house, but not so well outside where he wasnt as focused.
He showed no aggression with his food bowl in the short time he was here. We gave him treats and he took them gently from our hands.
Doug Fur is going to be an amazing addition to some lucky persons home. He is a very sweet and friendly guy. Overall, well behaved and loving."
