Contact home4rhodie@gmail.com for more information or to adopt the pet.Rhodie is a lover and a foxy looking fellow who will make your home merry and bright. He is an old soul in a young dogs body. He currently thrives in a home with another active (large) dog and a young toddler human. He does well at the dog park and has never been in an altercation with another animal. He is house-trained, kennel-trained, and well-behaved. Rhodie is highly sensitive; he is very shy when meeting new adult humans, but warms up immediately to other dogs and children. He creates strong bonds after a few days and is very loyal and loving. His shy demeanor is not a good long-term fit for his current active home. His current home welcomes frequent visitors and the family spends time in a campervan during the summer months. Both contribute to high levels of anxiety that his family does not wish to continue subjecting him to. He would do well in a home with other animals or children, but a lower volume of visitors throughout the day. Facts: Rhodie is Male, around 2 years old, 35 lbs, neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations and a happy/healthy dog. Please email home4rhodie@gmail.com for more information and an opportunity to meet Rhodie. Located in Asheville, North Carolina All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
