Hello Everyone – my name is Taz and I am looking for a forever home. I came to the Shelter as a Stray, and I have been here a little over a year. I was very scared when I first came here and absolutely hated it when the volunteers put me in the kennel. I think perhaps someone in my past life did not treat me very well. I really need a fenced in back yard as I do enjoy chasing after passing cars. I really enjoy my daily walks. I am not fond of car rides. I will require someone who is knowledgeable about my breed (I am a Terrier Mixed with Possibly Healer). I love people, petting, and attention but please be cautious with small children who may tease me or hurt me. I accept other dogs and cats as long as they accept me. I do best if they leave me alone and let me do my own thing. I am one-third ball of energy, two-thirds couch potato/lap dog. Heck, I even accept baths without complaining. I love to play with toys and balls and will keep you as active as you keep me. I am smart - learn quickly - and respond well to treats and toys. Have patience - lets build trust together and your love will be returned ten-fold. My birthdate is estimated as 9-21-18. I am neutered, microchipped, HW Negative and am up to date on all my vaccinations. I know in my heart there is a home out there for me. If you are interested in meeting me, you must complete an Adoption Application (which can be found on the Shelter Website under Adoption Fees). Once your application has been reviewed, the Shelter volunteers will contact you to schedule a meet and greet. Please consider opening your heart and home to me. Thanks for reading my story.
