Hi! Im Charlton!

I am the sweetest, cuddliest  2 year old boy ever. I am also super soft. All I want is to cuddle with you and play with you! Im a medium energy dog.

I would do better in a house with younger dogs or patient older dogs, (as I love to play) and either very patient cats or no cats. I get along with the cats in my foster home okay, but I tend to annoy them.

I am great with my 5 year old I live with, but I can be pushy, so I might do better with older kids.

I love to play fetch and love walks~ I walk pretty good right now and use a front pull harness. But I will pull if I see something I really like. Right now, I know how to sit, lie down, give a paw, come up, get down and wait.

I can sleep in a kennel overnight and go in my kennel willingly. I am usually pretty quiet, but I love to "growl" playfully with my toy and I will bark if Im spooked!

I need a patient person who is willing to always use positive reinforcement for me. I dont like yelling or loud noises and I dont handle negative reinforcement well. I can be nervous at times - Id love a confident parent who will make me feel safe and play fetch with me and cuddle me!

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Pacific Northwest... with stops in - Lacey, WA, Tukwila, WA, and Portland, OR. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.

As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
