**RESCUE PLACEMENT ONLY**
Keegan has not had an easy time at the shelter since arriving in February (2023). But, he also must have not had an easy time wherever he was before; this 15 pound fella was found in a crate with his collar and leash attached, sitting and waiting on the curb on a residential street. Tossed out like trash, no note, nothing! It wasnt until police were called and they brought him to our shelter. Keegan has been adopted and returned 4x since his arrival. . Keegan is handsome, in fact he is friendly when meeting new people, he will engage with you, he will allow to be pet, he is a charmer. However, he has severe guarding and consistently will show that in his homes. Keegan guards his chewy, toys and space and will bite. Unfortunately, he has been returned as a bite case; and we just know the right fit for him, is rescue placement. Our poor boy, deserves to be in an environment where he can get the on-going modification he needs. The stress of the shelter does so much on our animals.
