Adoption policy

Alone No More Dog Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer-based animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs from overcrowded kill shelters. We work with a network of volunteer advocates, foster caregivers, local veterinarians, trainers and shelters to place hundreds of dogs in safe and loving forever homes! We will provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also will serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter, positive behavior training, nutrition and veterinary care. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home. Alone No More Dog Rescue was founded in 2020 by a group of animal advocates in Maricopa County after learning that our County has been inundated with stray and surrendered animals. We partner with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control Center, Arizona Humane Society and Pinal County Animal Care and Control. Our focus is on saving as many adoptable dogs as we can and successful placement in approrpriate forever homes. We also work with unadoptable dogs and sometimes are able to change their status to adoptable and find them homes! Other goals we have is to provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their pet in an effort to keep the pets in their homes and out of the shelter system. We partner with local pet stores, in which we hope to provide us with food, beds, crates, blankets, collars, leashes and other necessities our dogs may need and are always looking for donations of supplies, Amazon wish list items and of course money. Please be assured 100% of the donations received are used to cover direct expenses of the non-profit. We believe in transparency and operating at a high standard in all that we do!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
