Adoption policy

Appalachian Tails Animal Rescue was founded by the love of animals and keeping animals out of the shelter setting including those being turned away from the shelter. We take those animals and get them to the vet for care including spay/neuter and vaccinations and then place them in foster homes until we can find them forever homes. We use social media and have animal adoption events at local businesses. We pride ourselves in finding good loving homes and only asking for donations from the adopters to help cover the cost involved with vetting and caring for the animals we are taking care of. This is not limited to Carter County animals, but any animal in any county that is need!
