BARC Humane Society is a foster-based nonprofit rescue. We are not affiliated with the Humane Society of Valdosta Lowndes, Lowndes County Animal Shelter, or Quitman Animal Shelter. We rescue animals from surrounding areas and place them in foster homes while they wait for their forever home. We are always looking for loving foster homes and volunteers to help us and we are always in need of basic animal care supplies and monetary donations. We can also be found on most weekends at PetSmart (Valdosta, GA) on Saturdays from 11 AM - 5 PM.
