Baja Dog Rescue is an American run 501c(3) non-profit organization that is operated by a group of dedicated volunteers in the Baja California area. We are a no-kill shelter that rescues and rehabilitates unwanted, abandoned, and neglected dogs from the streets and local pound and find them loving happy homes; we literally give them a second chance at life. We currently have almost 200 rescued street dogs at our sanctuary and veterinary hospital-on site where they receive the medical attention, food, and love needed to be ready for adoption here in San Diego and all over the U.S. Baja Dog Rescue is a 501c3 concentrating on helping street dogs, Cats, senior dogs, hospice dogs and sick dogs by providing on site medical attention/ treatment at our onsite fully equipped hospital, hospice and dog sanctuary. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
