Big Dog Rescue Project is a group of rescuers that pull dogs from high kill shelters in the DFW metro areas in Texas. We are a registered 501c3. We specialize in larger breeds and mixed breed dogs, and most dogs are pulled within hours of their scheduled euthanization. Dogs are then fully vetted and temperament tested to the best of our ability before being placed for adoption in New Jersey or the Pacific Northwest.. All adopters are pre-screened, \xa0and references and a home visit are just a part of the process so that we can ensure that their next home is a furever home.
