Boone County Animal Care, a 501c3 non-profit animal welfare organization, is located in Columbia, Missouri. We are an entirely foster care based organization passionate about improving the lives of animals in our community. We provide care to cats and kittens of all ages and physical conditions until they are successfully adopted into a family home. A significant focus of our group is trap, spay/neuter and release as an effort to reduce the overpopulation of cats and kittens. This also significantly improves the overall health of the cats and kittens in the community, reduces the number of intakes for cats and kittens to local shelters, and over time, will make an impact on the number of feral and uncared for pets.
All microchips registered with Findpet can be traced internationally through the American Animal Hospital Association’s (AAHA) universal pet microchip lookup, ensuring your pet's safety at home or during travel.
