CPPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of the companion potbellied pig.
We strive to share ideas, experiences and information which will benefit pigs and their guardians so they may live happy and satisfying lives together.
Through exposure at fairs, pet stores, schools, animal control shelters and on the Internet, we are working to educate the public to the wonders and realities of these delightful animals as companions.
We issue bulletins over the Internet to keep our members informed of new information concerning CPPA and/or potbellied pigs in general.
We try and assist people, animal shelters and rescue organizations in finding new homes for unwanted or abandoned Potbellied Pigs.
We provide veterinarian availability information and often provide hands on assistance when applicable.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Potbellied Pigs.
You do not have to own a potbellied pig to join CPPA!!!
FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an
internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet
Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or
involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery
Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet
owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such
as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the
program.
