Adoption policy

Have you considered adopting a pair but aren\"t sure if it is right for you? Pairs are a wonderful option for potential adopters! Contrary to popular belief, they do not bond less to their human companions, do not cost twice as much to care for, and do not require twice the supplies.\tMany pairs are used to sharing food and waters bowls, as well as litter boxes, especially if you adopt littermates. Pairs are often very affectionate with their humans. Some even trade time and responsibilities such as sleeping with and watching TV with their person or people. While you may have twice the bill when it comes to vaccinations, many vets do not require two samples from the litterbox annually and some even offer discounts for multiple pets. CatNap also has a low cost clinic in the shelter for these types of services. Please contact us for pricing and appointments. If you are considering a pair, stop by the shelter and let us show you why two can certainly be better than one! \t\xa0 \t\xa0 Founded in 1997, CatNap

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
