For the most updated list of our available animals for adoption, please visit :\xa0https://centralvermonthumane.org/adopt/ , instead of our Petfinder page as it is updated by staff availability.\xa0 ADOPTION FEES Cats Kittens (8 weeks- 6 months): $200 Adult Cats (7 months-8 years):$135 Mature Cats (9+ years): By Donation Buddy Kittens or Cats: $25 discount on total Adoption fees include: spay/neuter, rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age), 1st distemper vaccination, 1st deworming, flea preventative, microchip and registration, a 30 day free trial of 24PetWatch Pet Health Insurance, a coupon toward Hill’s Science Diet food, and a voucher for a free veterinary exam from the VVMA! Dogs Puppies (8 weeks- 6 months): $480 (Includes a six-week training class*) Adult Dogs (7 months-8 years): $250 (Some dogs will be $350 including a six-week training class) Senior Dogs (9+ years): $200 (discounted training class optional for $100) Buddy Adult or Senior Dogs: $25 discount on total Adoption fees include: spay/neuter, rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age), 1st distemper/parvo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, 1st deworming, flea preventative, a 30 day free trial of 24PetWatch Pet Health Insurance, a coupon toward Hill’s Science Diet food, and a voucher for a free veterinary exam from the VVMA! *Training classes included in adoption fees must begin with the next available cycle of classes. Adopters from outside the Central Vermont area may seek refunds to the additional cost after showing evidence that the dog has successfully completed a training class elsewhere. Small Animals Adoption fee is by donation for: Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Hamsters, Mice, and Rats. Rabbits, chinchilla, and ferret adoption fee is $50. Adoption fee includes a voucher for a free veterinary exam from the VVMA!
