Corridor Rescue was founded in 2008 by Deborah Hoffman.\xa0Deborah saw a need for help for stray animals on the northeast side of Houston, Texas between Hwy 59 and Little York, and decided to make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs and cats. The area is a known dumping ground for unwanted pets, both dead and alive. \xa0She dubbed the area The Corridor of Cruelty.
