Fulton County Regional SPCA is a 100% volunteer run, not-for-profit, donation-funded organization that was founded as Regional Animal Shelter in 2002. In May 2012, we opened our doors at our shelter and in 2019, we reincorporated as a Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals. Many dogs that enter Regional are just visiting – they are quickly reunited with their families after a grand outdoor adventure. But for those whose owners never come, or for those who were abused or abandoned, Regional is a place of love and healing until their forever homes are found. We do not euthanize for space.
Our mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals. We provide immediate shelter and care for any homeless or abused animals and either reunite these animals with their owners or find them new, loving homes. We will actively promote animal and owner education, training, and public awareness to improve the lives of the animals in our community and beyond.
During these times of uncertainty and for the safety of our volunteers, our shelter is temporarily by appointment only.
FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an
internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet
Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or
involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery
Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet
owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such
as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the
program.
