Established in 1983, HSCCL is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization serving the animals and people of Kaufman and Henderson counties and its surrounding municipalities. We rescue and care for more than 3,000 animals each year. \xa0 Mission: To promote the humane treatment of animals through care, education and advocacy. The Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake (HSCCL) provides shelter, food, medical treatment, and care to every animal that is brought to our facility.
