The Mason City Stray Animal Shelter is co-located with and managed by the Humane Society of North Iowa. \xa0Together, both organizations provide top quality care for hundreds of animals each year! \xa0Our shelters are always in needs of volunteers to help us socialize and exercise our animals; please visit us anytime! \tThe Mason City Stray Animal Shelter takes in animals that are found as stray in the city limits of Mason City, IA. Animals are held for 7 days waiting for an owner to come claim them. \xa0If they are not claimed within 7 days, they are made available for adoption! \xa0 \tMany of the animals in the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter were once someone\"s pet and they are looking to be someone else\"s pet again! \xa0Come and meet all our animals and give a shelter pet a new leash on life!

AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
