Miami Animal Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, foster based rescue group that runs on the support and aid of dedicated volunteers and supporters. We foster, transport, and adopt out our animals to forever homes in NE Oklahoma and Colorado. We LOVE our animals. Therefore, all of our pets are in private homes getting an abundance of love and socialization. With minimal spay and neutering laws in Oklahoma, there is a large number of unwanted and neglected animals. We are dedicated to helping all animals in need including urgent and high-risk animals. We save dogs and cats regardless of age or breed, and provide them with veterinary care and loving foster homes. We are tirelessly screening adopters so we can find a perfect forever home for each animal in our care. In addition to our rescue work, we do a low cost spay and neuter clinic several times a year. Together with our affiliates, we rescue and care for hundreds of animals each year. In 2017, we had 388 adoptions (of those animals, 202 were adopted in Colorado). We also held four low cost spay and neuter clinics. This year, we are close to 400 successful adoptions!
FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an
internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet
Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or
involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery
Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet
owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such
as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the
program.
