Muddy Moose Mutts Rescue is dedicated to helping abandoned, abused, neglected dogs and finding them the perfect forever home. In 2021 alone, we adopted out over 150 dogs, many of which were on lists to be euthanized at the kill shelters they were in. Many came from local pounds as strays. Many were abused, neglected, and malnourished. Many were owner surrenders where the owners had died or lost their home. All were in search of a new loving forever home. And that is where Muddy Moose Mutts stepped in. We take in all kinds of dogs needing our help and safely place them into loving, forever homes. We specialize in any dog in need! We often take in many senior pups, owner surrenders, and shelter dogs, not to mention medical cases. We love our dogs and you will too! They are all very well socialized in a home environment.
Each day, taking in a new dog with unknown issues, can lead to a drastic increase in our expenses. We do not discriminate against the dogs we rescue. We take in the young and the old, the healthy and the sick, and the unfriendly and the adorable. We are there for the dogs in need. We have treated dogs in need of surgery for bladder or kidney stones and mammary tumors, Cushing’s disease, cancer, provided life-saving heart worm treatment, provided dental work for dogs with rotting teeth, provided long term hospice care, and worked with dogs in desperate need of human interaction and guidance. Most importantly, we provided these dogs with a loving and caring home environment while they waited for their forever homes.
FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an
internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet
Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or
involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery
Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet
owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such
as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the
program.
