Adoption policy

Orphaned-Kitty Corner has a mission to keep kittens out of local shelters by creating a community of people dedicated to improving the lives and welfare of kittens through innovative care and education programs. We provide advanced care to neonatal and weaned kittens at our headquarters in Danville, IL, and in our foster homes. Our goal is to keep kittens out of animal shelters and animal control facilities where there may be fewer resources to care for this vulnerable population. We provide advanced and round-the-clock care, ensuring that each kitten is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given preventatives prior to being adopted. We are proud to collaborate with our community and several public and private shelters in Illinois to give kittens the best chance at a healthy beginning.
