Adoption policy

Paul the cat guy Inc is an all-volunteer 501(c) (3) non-profit rescue group dedicated to all aspects of cat rescue in New York City. We specialize in trap, neuter and return of feral cats, kitten and adult cat rescue and adoption, and pulling from kill shelters in the area. We rely entirely on donations to continue our work, and we provide outstanding care to the animals we serve. The heart of our operation is our TNR (trap, neuter and return) program. Through our spay/neuter and vaccinate program, adoption outreach and daily feedings, these needy animals are leading happier, healthier lives. Feral cats are returned to their colonies after surgery and vaccinations. Kittens and tame adults are taken into foster care until good permanent homes are found. We are NOT a shelter and depend on foster homes and volunteers to house and take care of these cats until they are adopted. Trap, neuter and return is the only humane and effective method of controlling homeless cat populations. For more

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
