Adoption policy

We are a 501c3 Non-profit group based in Larned, KS. \tThe Pawnee County Humane Society was established as a steering committee under the City of Larned in April of 2005, after several meetings of concerned citizens. The first priority of the PCHS was to help the animals that found themselves in the Larned City Pound without being claimed by an owner. Our goal was to decrease the number of animals being euthanized. As the awareness of our efforts grew, the PCHS began helping with animals from Pawnee County. The success of the PCHS is due to many volunteer hours by many volunteers who truly want to make the life of the homeless pets in Pawnee County a little better. Also, thanks to the support of our local Veterinary Clinics the homeless pets are spayed, neutered, and are living healthier lives. \tPawnee County Humane Society \t1406 M5 Rd \tLarned, KS 67550 \tIf you would like to make a donation to the Pawnee County Humane Society, please make the check payable to: Pawnee
