Often, cat lovers cannot own cats due to landlord restrictions, work requirements, allergic household members, and such. Purmaid Café allows people to spend time with cats without the responsibilities of ownership. An alternative to the traditional animal shelter, Purrmaid Café also allows qualified people the opportunity to adopt its resident cats. Since the primary goal of Purrmaid Café is to find forever homes for cats, it partners with 501[c][3] rescues such as Hope for Paws and Let them Be Little who, as needed, donate well-socialized, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated young cats.
Purrmaid Café provides its visitors a unique and fun experience and provides its cats a safe and caring environment until they find homes of their own. It gives its volunteer staff, made up of high school students and adults, invaluable experience in working with the community as well as with cats. Purrmaid Café also dedicates itself to the education of its visitors, both young and old, in responsible pet ownership.
FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an
internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet
Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or
involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery
Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet
owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such
as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the
program.
