Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team (START)\xa0a\xa0501C3 non-profit group,\xa0rescues homeless\xa0animals from overcrowded high-kill Southern\xa0and Central California shelters. We currently transport monthly up to 90 animals via our customized vehicle to fully vetted organizations in Oregon & Washington, where they are readily adopted into good homes. We have 8-15 dogs in boarding or foster homes in California who we adopt locally.
