Schneider Family Charitable Foundation - Finns Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary

Adoption policy

Our mission: Animal suffering caused by neglect and abuse must end now. SFCF seeks stronger legislation by state and local governments accompanied by stronger enforcement of these laws and education of the public. We are a private 501c3 not for profit based in Delray Beach FL. Every day SFCF sponsors and saves the lives of last chance end of the line dogs in kill shelters, abandoned animals and street dogs in Florida and Texas. We must do more to combat animal abuse, suffering and neglect by humans. We must create stronger better laws in our states and communities and see that they are enforced. We must educate children and adults about animal health and welfare. We must put an end to backyard breeders. We must advocate for stronger spay & neuter laws. We must see that no dog or cat suffers from easily preventable diseases such as heart worm disease. We must put an end to the chaining of animals in backyards across America. SFCF advocates for and gives grants to support all of the above causes. FINN’S RESCUE RANCH in Harper Tx recently opened its doors to 40 dogs and puppies. Between SFCF and Finn’s Rescue Ranch we have over 75 dogs in our care at any given time. SFCF sponsors medical behavioral and other last chance neglected or abused dogs. At Finn’s Ranch we rehabilitate our canine family physically emotionally and behaviorally before sending them to new lives with their forever families. We strive to send dogs from states where there are weak spay/ neuter laws and an over abundance of neglected and abandoned dogs to states where better animal protection laws are in place. Once a companion animal becomes part of our family, our mission is to step in with help at any time in their lives that they may need it. We seek to stop the constant recycling of precious lives back into the streets and shelters. Our dogs are our family. They will always be welcomed back at the ranch during their lifetime when in need. We send our dogs only to partner rescues where transparency and communication about the dogs is valued. Schneider Family Charitable Foundation is a 501c3 foundation and rescue based in Delray Beach FL.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
