Adoption policy

The Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center opened on Sept.1, 2011 to house stray and unwanted animals in Augusta County and the Cities of Staunton and Waynesboro. We are a municiple shelter that is run by Augusta, Staunton and Waynesboro. For Animal Control services, please contact the locality in which you reside. \tWe are an open-admission shelter which means that no animal in need is ever turned away. We take in all strays and animals that are released by their owners.
