Adoption policy

ADOPT LOCAL with a LOCAL rescue!! You will personally meet with a Survivor\"s Paws Animal Rescue volunteer, officer or board member when you are handed your puppy or dog at LOCAL transport location. WE do NOT have our adopters drive all over New England, New York or even further like Out-of-Town Pet rescues. These are OUT OF STATE rescues that CAN NOT offer the extra TLC that we give to each of our adopters, families, etc. IF you have any issues we are here local to support you, your family and your puppy or dog. Out-of-Town rescues can not offer the same kind of services that we are offer. Survivor\"s Paws Animal Rescue will be there for the time of application, thru getting your puppy or dog and with continued on going support and guidance throughout your puppy or dog\"s lives. We welcome all our adopters, volunteers, donors and businesses into our Survivor\"s Paws Animal Rescue family. We will find forever homes for the dogs entrusted to our care and to prevent animal cruelty. We will foster working relationships with communities, rescues/shelters & potential adopters. Ongoing support will be provided for our adopters.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
