VALHALLA CANINE RESCUE is an animal rescue organization located in the shadow of Mt Saint Helen.\xa0 The majority of our volunteers work in the veterinary field and we specialize in giant breeds, bully breeds and medically fragile dogs of all breeds.\xa0 We are comprised of a network of local foster homes where rescues live in home-style environments with people knowledgeable in breed specific traits, general animal\xa0 behavior, health and nutrition. We vaccinate, spay/neuter and micro-chip all our rescues as well as provide basic health exams including de-worming and flea treatments.\xa0 We also assess our rescues for general temperament and behavior and start basic training when applicable, including leash experience and familiarity with crating to ensure your new family companion gets a head start to becoming a Canine Good Citizen. For Humans, we provide education, advice, puppy classes and Meet a Breed events to help educate those considering adopting a pet.
