***Please DO NOT “Introduce Yourself” via PetFinder!*** APPLY at: bit.ly/WFAadoptions If a cat is listed on our Petfinder, it is still accepting applications. As soon as a cat is adopted, the listing is removed. Current status: in a foster home. RAISIN, 4 years old, was trapped at a trailer park as a feral kitten. His left ear is "tipped" to indicate he is fixed, under the assumption he would be returned outside, but hey, turns out the indoor life is pretty good! Raisin is looking for a quiet, low key home who will enforce proper portion control to help him lose some weight. He has a cute, chirpy meow, and an adorable way he very hesitantly headbutts your hand. His foster dad says “he took a couple weeks to start warming up to me. Extremely shy and skittish at first. He still is, but has made a lot of progress, though loud noises, sudden movements, and being approached unexpectedly will send him fleeing to his ‘safety closet’”. He doesn’t mind the other cats in the foster home at all. They aren’t quite friends yet, but they co-exist just fine - and Raisin has lived with many other cats for years at WFA headquarters. Raisin is neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped.
