Duke is about 6 or 7 years old and is fully grown at 24 kg.  He was hanging out at a construction site.  The site manager told workers to ‘get rid of the dog’.  One of the workers brought him to the neighbors who told the man the the woman next door works at a shelter.  Sop she quickly became his foster and life saver.  Duke is such a sweet dog despite the fact that the scars on his face makes one think he was a bait dog in dog fights. Duke is a friendly, affectionate, loving boy who loves his walks and is good on a lesh.  He knows how to sit, shake and fetch his squeeky toy.   He is great with other dogs (watch the video!), but he hasnt had any exposure to cats or kids so no assessment can be made on those points..  He loves to go in the car.  Hes a good watchdog and is not an incessant barker.  He doesnt ghuard his food and has a medium energy level.  Duke has had a difficult past and deserves a loving home of his own.  He will bring lots of love, joy and companionship to his forever home.
