Hi there, Im Lyra!

I was rescued after having been dumped at a Buddhist Temple in Houston. Now that I am safe I am free to be the fun-loving dog I have always dreamt of being! 

I absolutely love cuddling up into your lap but I have a real playful side as well. At the kennel I enjoy playgroups with a number of other dogs. My friends say that I can get a little too excited sometimes so another young active pup would be the best match for me. 

I have never had toys before my rescue but I have found them to be very comforting for me. My bed is always full of them! 

I just cant wait for a loving home where I can finally let my personality shine!
