Description:
Hi, my name is Nova, but all my friends call me Mollie.

I’m a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix, 58lbs, and I am 2 years old.

I’m a pretty active young dog and I can get bored really easily. I hope my future family is interested in playing with me and going on walks too. I would love a home with a fenced yard, I need the extra room to romp around. I will need to be the only pet in the home. I am a diva and not interested in sharing the limelight with other animals. This applies to my food as well! I can be pretty selfish with my food. I’ve become accustomed to being spoiled rotten. I’m looking for an experienced adult only loving home that understands and can manage my attitude.

I need time and patience when meeting new people. New things are really startling to me. I like to meet people slowly and when I am ready. I love mind games to keep me busy. Treat toys are the best! These are great to use when I meet new people. When I am ready, I can introduce myself and show you what all I know. Like a few commands such as wait, sit, down, and come.

The crate is not my favorite place to go but I am becoming tolerant of it if you need to go somewhere. If you could not be gone for too long that would be awesome. I will really miss you.

I do get car sick, but it seems to be managed well with medication. The medication makes the car ride (even a super short one) much more enjoyable for both you and me.

While I do love chicken, I seem to be allergic or intolerant of chicken. After trying a few foods, I’ve started eating a Turkey based dog food that can be purchased from Costco. It has been going very well.

I am a happy, fun, playful, smart, and energetic young lady just looking for the family of my dreams.

If you are interested in Nova/Mollie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
